There's a loud fizzing noise as you empty your canteen all over Hal's console. Several buzzes, a pop. It's an immensely satisfying series of noises. Hm, almost too satisfying...
You remember too late: Hal is waterproof. He was just toying with you, playing a series of noises carefully calculated to be maximally satisfying to your ear. What's his game? Does he already realize you know? Should you play it cool, or confront him immediately?
As you think about it, your body collapses out from underneath you. Clever Hal, asphyxiating you while you weren't paying attention! Hopefully that won't be your last mistake.
