Wander around Mêlée Island™ until you run into a pirate
You wander around the island enjoying the jaunty tune that plays as you do. You know this place is crawling with pirates, so sooner or later you're bound to run into one. Finally, you spot a guy wearing a striped sleeveless shirt, a red bandanna, and loose pantaloons with a zigzag hem. He couldn't be more of a pirate if he had an eyepatch and a parrot on his shoulder. Which, incidentally, he does.
"Put up your dukes!" you say, but you raise your sword instead of your duke.
The Pirate isn't fooled and raises his sword in turn. He says "I got this scar on my face during a mighty struggle!"
