Obey the Demon
The entity of darkness on your other shoulder is absolutely right. Those poor saps that face being horribly shredded in the jaws of evil aren’t your problem. You have more important things to do! Like… dusting down that broken table full of old books full of pomes! You know, the one that you’re using the game disk to prop up.
So you smile a happy smile, and hum a cheerful tune as you leave the building. You’re so happy and content that you really don’t even notice the horrible screams of the ones locked in the horrible monster’s grasp.
