Play in a Wagon
You find a wagon without event, and immediately go to the top of a large hill. You orient the wagon so that its front end faces downhill, and then you hop in, and ride down the hill at breakneck speed. Which, unexpectedly, knocks you out cold.
When you awake, you feel that the Johnny has left your body, returning you to your normal non-SUPERDARKLORD self.
You're still sprawled in the wagon, except it seems that either you rolled into a renaissance fair or some peasant has dragged you here without your consent.
