Wonder why the narration suddenly changed tense
It suddenly occurs to you that the narrative tense suddenly and unexpectedly changed from third person omnipresent to first person limited. Then you realize that the tense has somehow managed to revert back to third person omnipresent. You find this very disconcerting.
"Why would the narration change like that?" you ask yourself. There’s no logical explanation that you can think of. It bothers you so much that you almost forget the dead ocelot stuck on your back.
